10 on Tuesday

I feel like a big creep-ball, involving myself in blogger traditions in blog circles I read but never engage in. Because, like I’ve mentioned, I don’t know how to make friends in daily life or internet life, so instead I am just a creepy lurker everywhere… but anyway, I’ve had enough and I’m gettin’ in on this (taken from Roots & Rings):

1. What is your favorite decor item in your house?
I’m… less than adept at decorating. I have a few hanging pictures in the kitchen that I enjoy, but beyond that I’m still hoping to someday learn how to decorate properly. I fail at being domestic.

2. What is your favorite hair product?
I don’t really use product. I wash and condition with Aveeno Nourish & Moisture, which is the first shampoo/conditioner set to ever actually make my hair feel soft. Beyond that? A hair straightener or a curling iron and I’m good.

3. Are you a good dancer?
You know, I never thought I was. Lately I’m starting to wonder. I’m not a talented dancer in any way that matters (like, I would fail ballet class and I trip over my own two feet in any dance-based exercise class I ever take) but I think I’m decent when it’s just, I don’t know, dancing at a wedding or party or whatever. Usually drunk. You know how it is.

4. You get some good news, who’s the first person you call?
It probably depends on the news. Either the boy, my mom, or my best friend.

5. Would you rather take pictures, or be in pictures?
I’m not good at photography, but I usually am one of the people whipping out the digital camera at any type of function. Sometimes I wish there were more people taking pictures of me, so that all of my photo-memories aren’t totally posed and taken by me. I like being in pictures; I’m not one of those people who run from the camera.

6. What is your shoe style?
I switch between ballet flats and high boots. I have heeled high black boots and heeled high camel boots, and then flat high black ones as well. I wear the same pair of black ballet flats A LOT but recently procured some gold flats, red flats, and brown flats. It’s a good thing I know how to shop for cheap shoes (and make cheap shoes last forever) because I seem to be buying a lot of ’em lately.

7. How often do you eat out?
It depends. Lately, not very often. I’m trying to stop eating out for lunch, and most dinners I eat alone because the boy and I only really see each other on the weekend. On the weekends, though, we do tend to eat out quite a bit.

8. If someone has food in their teeth, do you tell them?
A friend, yes. A stranger I’m not even talking to, no.

9. Do you fold your underwear?
Ha, not in any universe. It’s just stuffed into my underwear drawer.

10. Milk, dark, or white chocolate?
All three, please. Now.

  1. It’s also my first time delurking for the 10 on tuesday …

I agree about the underwear folding…you know I clicked on 18 10 on tuesday posts and only 1 person folds…so I am thinking the numbers are in our favor 🙂

  2. #3 reminds me of when I was 4 and I was the clumsiest girl you ever saw. So my mom put me in ballet and gymnastic classes to inspire me with some grace. Didn’t work. Though I think I finally learned to put my hands out in front me when I fall so I don’t scrape up my face.

I wasn’t the most astute child.

By the way, where do you usually do your shoe shopping? I can’t seem to find anything decent under the $30 range. It’s annoying!

    • Honestly, a lot of my recent shoe purchases have been at Target. Like, super cheap. And my boots were mostly Christmas gifts from last year, and I think my mom got them for cheap-ish (on sale) from Macy’s or somewhere.
